Are you in pain? If so, you’re in luck.
Pain is one of the great teachers of change.
When you’re walking down the street, at a café, or in the supermarket, and you see one of the most beautiful women you’ve ever seen in your life, and you freeze up. You don’t know what to say, and those voices flood in your head.
They start telling you the same old things.
“I’m not enough. I wish John was with me. It’s not the right time. I’ll do it tomorrow”.
What you feel then is loneliness, emptiness and pain.
How many times have you felt that pain? How many times did you feel it today? When are you going to let that pain teach you? It’s trying to tell you something. It’s a voice in your head trying to tell you that you need to change.
There is beauty in pain. Please listen.
Today, I want you to become aware of how much pain you’re in. Every time a beautiful woman walks by you, every time you start a conversation with a girl and you walk away before it’s done.
Become aware. Stop being numb.
When did you let your life become mediocre? When did you just start accepting life as it comes? When did you decide that you were just going to be a regular schmo, with an average life?
There’s beauty in pain. Listen to it,
It’s time for a change.
Pain, suffering. For many of us, it’s become common in every part of our day. And for many of us men, it’s become a regular thing to feel the pain every time you see a beautiful woman. You see her and you appreciate her, then it quickly turns into the pain of not being able to respond, not being able to express yourself. Not being able to communicate your wants, your needs, your desires.
The power of pain.
Why is that pain there… is it there just to nag at you? Just to make you feel like life stinks? Or is it there for another reason, is it there to teach you? To push you along? Is that pain there telling you you’ve got to do some work on yourself? You’ve got to dislodge what’s stuck.
The power of pain. The pain that comes from rejection.
The pain that comes from thwarted wanting, that comes from not getting what you want. The pain that comes from not being able to express the beauty of who you are to another person. Devastating pain. There’s no pain like it.
Now it’s time to look at yourself and analyze who you are, where you’ve been and where you want to be. Where you’re going and what needs to change in order for you to self-actualize. In order for you to be clear and clean, in order for you to be a better version of you.
The power of pain is to teach you, push you forward, to move you into a new place, a new space in your life. And the more unbearable the pain, the more likely it is that you will make a change. The more unbearable the pain, the more likely it is you will take action. Sometimes the pain has just become so common that we’re used to it. You live with it every day, and we become mediocre at our every day lives. We become mediocre, and we learn to accept life as it is. We accept things about our self-limitations that just aren’t true.
The power of pain is looking forward.
It’s time to move beyond pain
And into power…
